The Headroom Desk

Every piece here signs collectively because that reflects how the work actually happens: someone measures, someone drafts, a different pair of eyes attacks the draft, and mail lands in one shared queue answered by whoever can resolve it fastest. Publishing under an invented named personality would contradict the honesty this desk demands of utilities reviewed across these pages, so the masthead stays organizational instead.

Who does what

Audits run hands-on before drafting begins, per the working order described in its own note; a skeptical second pass tests each claim against the measurement record rather than memory; corrections correspondence continues until queues empty visibly. The procedures live permanently in the editorial policy, which binds whoever holds the desk next as firmly as it binds today's staff.

Contacting an actual human

Write to [email protected]. Replies issue from the shared mailbox under the same collective signature used here, typically within a week, faster for anything broken in production. Personal bylines may appear if contributors eventually opt in under terms they control; none exists today, and the pages above make no pretense otherwise.
